WordPress.org blogging software is one of the most popular software platforms for blogging on the internet today. Some of the most popular blogging templates on the internet are WordPress.org templates, which are sleek and simple in design and are usually fairly easy to use.
Blog readers tend to prefer quick and easy to navigate blogs over those with lots of colors and images that take a long time to load. The following WordPress.org templates demonstrate the diversity of such templates that are currently available.
Most of these templates are easy to use and have fairly sleek and sophisticated designs. All can be found at the WordPress Theme Base website (http://wordpressthemebase.com) though I have included some direct links here.
1. Dawnbreak

This is a three column template. It has three columns, with a header above the first two, and would work well for an online personal blog or journal. It is clean and simple and works well with widgets too.
2. DerekJ

This is a widget ready template. It has two columns and is very professional. It would work well for an online magazine or company blog.

This is a fairly new template. It has three columns, is very colorful, and works well with widgets. Its background can change according to the season and the reader’s choice, hence its name. This template would be fun to have on a personal blog or online journal.
4. Emptiness

This is a great minimalist theme. It has three columns and a white background. It’s simple HTML and CSS design makes it an easy template for beginner bloggers.

This is another simple and clean minimalist theme. It only features the logo and RSS feed image and has two columns. This template would work well for online portfolios, both art and writing, and for blogs.
Please note that these blog templates work with WordPress.org blogs and not WordPress.com blogs. WordPress.org is a blog publishing software platform while WordPress.com is a blog website host that is especially useful for beginner bloggers.
In order to use WordPress.org, you must already have a website host that meets WordPress’s minimum requirements. Also, be sure to take a look at WordPress’s Blog Design and Layout (http://codex.wordpress.org/Blog_Design_and_Layout) tutorial page when using a new template for the first time.
Enjoy the themes!
